Spiegel, Gerrie (23 April 1977)
Gabby Schultz and Gerrie Spiegel, both of Neillsville, were married April 23, in
a 6 p.m. candlelight ceremony performed at the Inwood Ballroom at Hatfield by
Circuit Judge Lowell D. Schoengarth.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gault, Neillsville, were the couple’s attendants. Guests were
seated by Tom and Jim Spiegel. Douglas (Bud) Hantke of St. Paul, Mn., played the
wedding march.
Guests were received in a reception line featuring champagne fountain. A buffet
dinner was served, highlighted by a large wedding cake decorated with pink
roses, lilies, lilies-of-the-valley and a fountain. Dancing followed throughout
the evening. Guests came from throughout Wisconsin as well as from Minnesota,
Illinois and New Mexico.
The groom is a retired county traffic officer and drives semi for a local
trucking cooperative. The bride is employed as a barmaid at a lounge in
Hatfield.
They will make their new home on Rt. 2 Neillsville, later this summer they will
