Zepaltas, Diane Marie (14 May 1977)

An Eau Claire couple, Diane Marie Zepaltas, daughter of Mrs. John Zepaltas, Sr., of Greenwood, and Mark Thomas Roach, were married Saturday, May 14, in Eau Claire. The 3 p.m. ceremony was performed at St. James the Greater Church by Fr. Rorke. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Roach, Eau Claire.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother, John Zepaltas, Jr. She appeared in a traditional white gown fashioned with an empire bodice, U-shaped neckline with decorative Venise lace motif, full length straight sleeves, A-line skirt and chapel train.

Her attendants were Deborah Zepaltas of Greenwood as maid of honor, Miss Ginny Fisher and Miss JoAnn Heisig of Eau Claire, Miss Kathy Zepaltas of Greenwood and Miss Ann Roach of Eau Claire as bridesmaids. Their bell-sleeved gowns of red and white dotted swiss were complimented by wide-brimmed hats and bouquets of red and white carnations.

The groom was attended by Gary Wendt of Eau Claire as bestman and by Toni Roach, Patrick Roach and Mike Jackelen of Eau Claire and Tom Zepaltas of Ladysmith as groomsmen. Ushers were James Zepaltas and Chuck Roach, both of Eau Claire.

Patrice Pakiz was the organist and Nancy Roach and Donna and Chip Hatleli, the vocalists.

A reception was held at the Westgate Sportsmen’s Club, Eau Claire.
