Noll, Lorraine (New appointment - 1977)

Lorraine Noll, Two Rivers, has been appointed toa four-year term on the certification board of the American Nurses’ Association, Inc. The former Lorraine Feuerstein, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Feuerstein of Neillsville.

Ms. Noll, an employee of the Manitowoc County Department of Public Health Nursing, will served on the board’s division on community health nursing practice. As part of her duties, she will attend two three-day meetings of the certification board each year at ANA headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.

One of the approximately 500 nurses certified in the nation since the program began in 1973, Ms. Noll achieved ANA certification for excellence in community health nursing practice in January. Certification is based on knowledge, demonstration of excellence in clinical practice, and endorsement by colleagues.

She graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Marshfield, and also attended the University of Minnesota and Silver Lake College, Manitowoc. The majority of her nursing practice was at Austin, Tx., Salina Ka., Red Wing, Mn., and at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Ms. Noll began her present position in September 1972. She resides in Two Rivers with her four children.
