Hinkelmann, Annette (4 June 1977)
The marriage of Annette Hinkelmann and Terry Marty was solemnized Saturday, June
4, in a 2 p.m. ceremony performed at Calvary Lutheran Church in Neillsville by
the Rev. Ronald Nordin. Afterward, the event was marked by a dinner at Bali Hai
Supper Club, a reception at the home of the bride’s parents, and a dance at Bali
Hai.
For her wedding day, the bride chose a white gown of sheer organza and Venise
lace fashioned with a high neckline, long full, sheer sleeves caught by deep
cuffs and a ruffled, flounced skirt flowing into a chapel train. Her chapel
length veil cascaded from a Juliet cap. She carried a bouquet of gardenias and
trailing ivy as she was presented in marriage by her father. Parents of the
couple are Mr. and Mrs. Arden Hinkelmann, Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse
Marty, Rt. 1 Neillsville.
Mrs. Marcia Hinkelmann was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Mark
Anding of Granton and Mrs. Henry Brill of Janesville. Their gowns of blue
double-knit with embroidered, sheer capes were complimented by basket
arrangements of daisies and foliage. They wore matching headpieces.
The groom was attended by Kenny Gerhardt of Mondovi as bestman and Arlan
Hinkelmann, Tom Marty and Gene Kohnert, Pigeon Falls, as groomsmen. Guests were
seated by Randy Gault and Roger Kosmosky. Trevor Stienke served as ring bearer.
“We’ve Only Just Begun,” “The Lord’s Prayer” and “Wedding Song” were suing by
Miss Barb Richmond. Mrs. Kendall Smith was the organist.
The bride was honored at three prenuptial showers. One given by Kathy Seefeldt
and Marcia Hinkelmann; another by Mrs, Roland Mallegni; and third, by Mrs.
Barbara Anding and Randi Gault.
The new Mrs. Marty is a 1976 graduate of Neillsville High School. She is
employed locally as a waitress at a supper club. The groom graduated from the
same school in 1975 and is employed at a local food store.
Upon returning from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Canada, the newlyweds
will make their home on Rt. 2 Neillsville.
