Steen, Caroline I. (15 March 1923 - 23 April 1983)

RIB LAKE - Mrs. Martin (Caroline I.) Steen, 60, Route 1, Rib Lake, died April 23 at her home. She is the sister of Mrs. Marcella Lord of Marshfield and Mrs. Elnora Erdman of Colby.

Services were Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Town of Greenwood (Taylor County). The Rev. Thomas Zahn officiated. Burial was in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

The former Caroline I. Glenzer was born March 15, 1923 in Clark County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Theresa Lindner) Glenzer. She was married to Martin Steen June 27, 1942 in the Town of Greenwood.

Also are surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Judy) Skibbe of Rib Lake, Mrs. Frank (Rosella) Filas of Medford, and Mrs. Michael (Joan) Kniech of Milwaukee; one son, Emil of Route 1, Rib Lake; two brothers, Alfred Glenzer of Milwaukee and Eugene Glenzer of Rib Lake; and nine grandchildren.

The Dallmann-Mannel Funeral Home, Rib Lake, handled arrangements.
