Services for a former Owen resident, Mrs. E. F. Sullivan, 61, of Eau Claire, will be held at 1:30 Friday afternoon at St. Katherine’s Church, Owen. Father Larson of Christ Cathedral of Eau Claire will officiated, and burial will be made at Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Mrs. Sullivan, nee Merna Mathewson, passed away at 6:30 Tuesday morning at a hospital in Rochester, Minn., where she had been taken after suffering a stroke while she and her husband were spending Easter with their daughter Pat and family at Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

She will lie in state at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral home Thursday afternoon and evening.
