Haack, Mary L. (18 June 1977)
Zion United Church of Christ, Greenwood, was the scene of the June 18 wedding of
a Middleton couple, Ms. Mary L. Haack and Larry L. Hendrickson. Officiating at
the 2 p.m. ceremony were the Rev. David Logue, pastor, and the Rev. Robert
Houston of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Kenneth Meehan of Middleton. Mr. and Mrs. Art
Hendrickson, Rt. 3 Greenwood, are the groom’s parents.
A colonial bouquet with roses, baby’s breath and yellow, blue and white daisies
complimented the bride’s sleeveless gown of ivory polyester styled with lace
accents at the neckline and arm area. She wore daisies and baby’s breath in her
hair as she was presented in marriage by her brother-in-law, Larry Gorman of
Madison.
Debby Lynn Fredrickson, Middleton, was the matron of Honor and Miss Betsy
Gaynor, West Chester, Pa., was the bridesmaid. Their blue two-tiered dresses
with bow-accented side wrap tie, were accented by yellow, blue and white
colonial daisy bouquets and daisy hairpieces.
Attending the groom was Rick Verschay, Marshfield, as bestman and Bob Rondorf,
Loyal, as groomsman. The groom’s brothers, Ron and Randy Hendrickson of
Greenwood, acted as ushers.
Kelly Lynn Haack of Middleton, daughter of the bride, was the flower girl.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Schultz provided music for at the wedding.
A reception and a dance were held at the Greenwood Legion Hall. The groom’s
parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Friday evening.
The new Mrs. Hendrickson graduated from Madison area technical college in August
of 1976 and is employed at the veterans’ Hospital in Madison as a licensed
practical nurse. Her husband, who received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees
from the UW-Madison, is presently a PhD candidate in soil science at the same
school.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to Canada, the newlyweds will make their
home in Middleton.
