Miss Connie Mae Wagner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond G. Wagner, Owen, will
be among 132 seniors to receive a Bachelor’s degree from Mount Mary College in
Commencement exercises Saturday, May 15 at 2 p.m. in the College Theater.
The degree will be conferred by Sister Mary Nora Barber, SSND, Ph.D., President
of the College, and awarded by Milwaukee Archbishop William E. Cousins to
candidates presented by Sister Patricia Ann Preston, SSND, Ph.D., Academic Dean.
Commencement speaker will be Sister Mary Briant Foley, SSND, Ph.D., Associate
Professor of History and former provincial leader of the Mequon Province of the
School Sisters of Notre Dame.
Miss Wagner will received a Bachelor of Science degree with major studies in
occupational therapy. While attending Mount Mary, she was a member of the choir
and of the Student Occupational Therapy Association. She served as treasurer of
the Junior Class, and as an usher at school activities.
Miss Wagner will complete her professional occupational therapy affiliations in
Chicago. She was graduated from Owen-Withee High School as Valedictorian of her
class.
