The University of Miami recently conferred on Gary Joel Baum the degree of
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. The presentation was made on the
17th of December 1975.
Gary’s name appeared on the President and Dean’s Honor roll, which requires a
4.0 grade average.
Gary was a 1971 graduate of Owen-Withee High School and attended UW-Platteville
until 1973, when he was enrolled at the University of Miami, Coral Gables,
Florida.
Gary is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Baum, former residents of rural Withee.
Gary is currently working as an electrical engineer for Bendix Avionics. Bendix
is a leading manufacturer of commercial aircraft, radio navigation and radar
systems.
