Ott, Lydia H. (11 March 1892 - 2 May 1983)
CHILI -- Services for Mrs. Edward (Lydia H.) Ott, 91, of Chili who died Monday
at her home, will be Wednesday at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Chili.
The Rev. Frank Hinebaugh will officiate, Organist will be Mrs. Helen Grimm and
the singers will be Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Horn. Burial will be in the parish
cemetery and pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
Visitation at the Hansen Funeral Home in Marshfield.
The former Lydia H. Lindow was born March 11, 1892 in the town of Fremont, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave (Rosina Janasch) Lindow and received her
education there.
He first marriage was to Edwin Happe June 15, 1910. They farmed in the town of
Fremont for 3 1/2 years. He died January 22, 1914. She was married to Edward Ott
October 1, 1919 and they farmed in the town of Lynn for 42 1/2 years, moving to
Chili in September 1962. He died February 4, 1963 but Mrs. Ott continued to live
there.
She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Chili, and a charter
member of United Methodist Women of Chili.
Surviving are four daughters, Mae, Leah and Hazel Ott, all of Chili, and Mrs.
Verna Swenson of Marshfield; and two brothers, Albert and William Lindow, both
of Chili.
She was predeceased by her parents, to sisters and one brother.
