Erika Mock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burkhard Mock, rural Owen, received the
Class Valedictorian Award. Erika had maintained almost a straight “A” average
during her four high school years. In addition to her academic achievements she
has participated in a wide variety of co-curricular activities, with a special
emphasis on music. This year’s band member selected Erika ass outstanding member
of their group, and this entitles her to the Arion Award given each year by the
Owen Kiwanis Club. Erika will attend the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, where
she will major in music therapy.
