The Rev. Robert L. Everhard of 305 Elm St., Abbotsford, has been pastor of First
United Church of Christ there since June 15, 1977.
He served several churches beginning with 7 1/2 years at the Presbyterian Church
Lodi. He then was called to the Chicago Presbytery Church 13 years before moving
to the Abbotsford area. He was born and raised in the Milwaukee area, having
graduated from Carroll College, Waukesha, in 1954 with a B.S. degree. He
attended the Presbyterian Seminary at Dubuque, Iowa, graduating in 1957 with a
bachelor of divinity degree. On June 7, 1957 he was ordained at Calvary
Presbyterian Church, Milwaukee, his home church. His hobbies are hunting,
bowling, radio-controlled airplanes and most sports.
He and his wife Lori, have three children, a daughter, Mrs. Darlene LaFave, who
teaches fourth grade and two sons, Dale and Donald, both students at the
University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
