Lavandowska, Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth (Golden - 30 June 1977)
Friends and relatives gathered June 30 at Lake Holcombe Town Hall in observance
of the 50th wedding anniversary of Helmuth and Vera Lavandowska, former Clark
County residents now making their home in Titusville, Fl. The open house was
given by the couple’ daughter, Joyce. A beautiful anniversary cake was made and
decorated by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert Rollins.
Helmuth Lavandowska and the former Vera Rollins, both Clark County natives, were
married June 30, 1927, at Bessemer, Mi. After their marriage, they farmed in
Clark County for over 40 years before retiring. They are members of the Senior
Citizens Club of Lake Holcombe.
The Lavandowskas are parents of a daughter, Mrs. James (Joyce) Mead of
Titusville, Fl. A son, Leroy, is deceased. There are six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
