Miss Cynthia Marie Compau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Compau, Gasport, New
York, was given in marriage by her father to CTO3 David Michael Zupanc,
Jacksonville, Florida, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Zupanc Sr., Loyal.
The Zupanc/Compau nuptials were solemnized April 30 by the Rev. James J. Logan
in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Patty Kelty was organist; Patty
Nichols, Vocalist.
The bride had a polyester and lace gown, a veil and a bouquet of white roses,
pale blue carnations and baby's breath.
Mrs. Beverly Zupanc of Route 1, Loyal , was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were
Jodi Dahlby, Medford, and Michelle Schlagenhaft, Loyal. They had blue formals
and their flowers were white roses and blue carnations.
Best man was Joseph Zupanc Jr., Loyal. Groomsmen were Blake Dahlby, Medford, and
P.J. Mack, Loyal, and ushering were Tim Zupanc and Bill Compau.
Dinner was served at Star Lodge Motel, Loyal. The newlyweds will live in Naples,
Italy, for three years, the bridegroom being based there with the U.S. Navy.
The bride graduated from Hugo High School, Hugo, Oklahoma. Her husband is a 1976
Loyal High School graduate.
