Diers, Cheri (Workshop - 1977)

Cheri Diers, a senior at Neillsville High School, is attending a two-week journalism workshop at the UW-Eau Claire. She is attending for the school newspaper, “Warrior Post,” of which Mrs. Irene Braatz is the advisor. Cheri will be co-editor-in-chief of the paper this fall.

At the workshop, she is taking classes in basic news writing, editorial writing and dealing with editorial problems, and is also participating in a production lab which edits a paper tice during the two-week workshop. She attends lectures dealing with other aspects of journalism as well.

Cheri is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Diers, Rt. 3 Neillsville.
