Vine, Claud (24 December 1904 – 18 July 1977)
Claud Vine, 72, of Lake Geneva and formerly of the Town of Grant, died at an
Elkhorn hospital at 4:30 p.m. on Monday July 18.
Mr. Vine was born December 24, 1904, in the Town of Grant. He attended the Kurth
School and Neillsville High School, graduating with the class of 1924. His
marriage to the former Margaret Hanson took place March 3, 1936. Most of his
adult life was spent as a salesman for Swift and Co.; he retired in 1970.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a sister, Mrs. Alvin (Ruth)
Kissinger of Chili; and two brothers, Irving Vine of Granton and Theamore Vine
of Neillsville.
