Devine, James & Ida (Gold - Jun 1976)

A Golden Anniversary mass was said at Holy Rosary Parish on June 26, 1976 in honor of the wedding anniversary of James and Ida Devine. Father Fliss was the celebrant and the music was provided by a group of the Devine’s grandchildren, to a guitar accompaniment. Mass services were Mike and Gary Brey.

The ceremony was followed by a dinner in the church dining hall. The received many lovely gifts and cards.

Those attending were their 13 children, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Devine, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Devine, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Theresa) Pawlak, Mr. and Mrs. Burt Devine, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle (Janice Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel (Marilyn) Brey, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Devine, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Devine Mr. and Mrs. David Devine, Mrs. And Mrs. Mike Devine, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Devine, and Mr. and Mrs. John (Kay) Parker. Also attending were their 61 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Devine and Mrs. Devine’s sister, Mrs. Louis Johnson, and her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Vanderwegen, Mrs. Martha Vanderwegen, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peterson.
