Art Wolfram was pleasantly surprised when the ladies of the Owen Heights apartments held a surprise birthday party honoring his 89th birthday on Monday, July 12, 1976. It was held at the apartment of Mrs. Clara Saldern, and those attending were Mrs. Floy Schnoor, Mrs. Bertha Combs, Mrs. Marie Decker, her sister Martha and mother, Mrs. Boxrucker, also Mrs. Martha Peissig, Mrs. Marie Schwarte, Mrs. Frances Riley, Mrs. Ida Englebretson.

Art also celebrated his birthday on Sunday when his family spent the day with him here, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wolfram and family of Eau Claire, Mrs. Norman Erickson, daughters, Jane and Peggy of Stoughton.
