Nelson, Nancy Jane (12 August 1977)
The grandson of a Neillsville couple, John Robert Dierauer, took Nancy Jane
Nelson as his bride in a 7:30 p.m. ceremony performed Friday, August 12, at Mt.
Olivet Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Mn., by the Rev. Paul Youngdahl.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dierauer of Minneapolis and the
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Van Gorden of Neillsville and Mrs. Leona
Dierauer of Alma. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Nelson are the bride’s parents and Mr. and
Mrs. John Nelson, her grandparents, all are of Minneapolis.
The bride’s sister, Anna Marie Olsen, was her honor attendant. Bridesmaids were
Jean Krause, also her sister, and Debra Dierauer, sister of the groom. Martha
and Sarah Olsen, nieces of the bride, were the flower girls.
The groom was attended by his brother, Gorden Dierauer, as bestman. Another
brother Van Dierauer, and the bride’s brother, Ronald Nelson, served as
groomsmen. Guests were seated by James Olsen and Donald Krause, brothers-in-law
of the bride.
Among guests were the groom’s uncle and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Van
Gorden and family of Neillsville, and a cousin, Marcia Van Gorden of
Minneapolis.
