Petersen, Ernest L. (26 December 1919 - 31 December 1979)

Ernest L. Petersen, 60, Route 3, Oconto Falls, died Monday evening at his home after a short illness. He was born December 26, 1919 in Withee, Wisconsin, to the late Christopher and Effie Petersen.

Mr. Petersen married Opal Johnson on June 23, 1945 in Orange, Texas. They lived in Green Bay for several years and moved to Oconto Falls 3 1/2 years ago. He presently owned and operated O&E Sales, Oconto Falls. Mr. Petersen served in the Navy in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Opal; three sons, Glenn and Darrell, both of Green Bay, Warren of Appleton; two grandchildren; three brothers, Earl of Withee, Wisconsin, Woodrow of Owen, Wisconsin and Glenn of Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

he was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Friends may call at Soulek Funeral Home, Oconto Falls. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Richard Sweitzer. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Spruce.
