Kusta, Diane Mary (30 April 1983)
St. Mary's Church, Auburndale, was the setting for the April 30 wedding of Miss
Diane Mary Kusta, 806 S. Cherry Ave., Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Kusta,
Route 2, Auburndale, and Ronald Allen Strey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Strey,
Route 1, Granton.
The Rev. George C. Passehl performed the nuptials during which the bride was
given in marriage by her parents. Judy Meyer and Mary Hofer provided music.
The bride, carrying a cascade of pink roses, white carnations, forget-me-nots
and baby's breath, had an Edwardian gown of organza and Chantilly lace with
chapel train and a matching veil of illusion and lace in fingertip length.
The aides, wearing blue knit caped formals, were Miss Sheila Wiskerschen,
Auburndale, maid of honor, and Mrs. June Kusta of Blenker, Miss Sandra Benson of
Marshfield and Miss Margaret Strey, Granton, bridesmaids. Each had a fan topped
with silk blue roses, carnations and daisies.
Keri Kusta was miniature bride; Jason Strey, ring bearer.
Roman Heimeryl of Fredonia was bestman. Groomsmen were Dennis Kusta of Blenker,
Roger Kusta of Auburndale and Art Dahl, Granton, and ushering were Duane
Ashbeck, Auburndale, and Daniel Strey, Loyal.
The reception, dinner and dance were at Marshfield labor Temple. The couple's
address is 2007 S. Vine Ave.
The bride graduated in 1976 from Auburndale High School and in 1977 from
Mid-State Technical Institute-Marshfield. She is a medical transcriber at
Marshfield Clinic.
Her husband, a mechanic for Central Wisconsin Foliage, is a 1978 LoyAl High
School graduate.
