The Very Rev. Joseph A. Grassl officiated at the nuptial ceremony May 7 in St.
Joseph's Catholic Church, Stratford, where Miss Susan M. Rakovec and Larry A.
Adams of Route 3, Stratford, were married.
Their parents are Mrs. Marge Rakovec, Neillsville, and Frank Rakovec, Loyal, and
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Adams, Route 2, Stratford. Playing the organ was Mrs. Alan
Breu, Marshfield, and singing were Miss Patty Adams and Patrick Steines of
Stratford,
The bride had a white chiffon and lace gown with chapel-length veil, and her
flowers were white daisies, blue rosebuds and baby's breath.
Bridal aides were Mrs. Tony Bohman, Stratford, matron of honor, with Miss Alice
Adams, Marshfield and Mrs. Richard Adams, Stratford, bridesmaids. They had blue
formal ensembles and their flowers were blue daisies, white rosebuds and baby's
breath.
Carrie Jo Rakovec of Neillsville was flower girl and Jeff Adams, Stratford, the
ring bearer. Best man was Tony Bohman, Stratford. Groomsmen were Jim Rakovec,
Neillsville, and Richard Adams, Stratford, and ushering were David Rakovec,
Neillsville, and Dale Heil, Stratford.
The reception, dinner and dance were at Trianon Ballroom. The newlyweds, who
plan a trip at a later date, are living on Route 3, Stratford.
The bride graduated in 1976 from Loyal High School and is an office girl for
Figi's Inc., Marshfield. Her husband, a truck driver for Edelweiss Cheese Co.
Inc, Marshfield, is a 1976 Stratford High School graduate.
