Hoberg, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd (Silver - 31 August 1977)
Lloyd and Delores Hoberg, residents of Neillsville for the past three years,
observed their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday afternoon, August 28, with an
open house at their home at 19 Hewett St.
The Hobergs were married August 31, 1952, in Montevideo, Mn., and are parents of
two children, Carol Jean, an LPN at Fair Oaks Nursing Home, Minneapolis, and
Raymond, stationed with the U.S. Navy at Norfolk, Va. Ray’s ship docked later
than expected and so he was unable to get home for the observance.
They came to Neillsville from Barron where Mr. Hoberg was assistant supervisor
of the county Farm home Administration office. Here, he holds the position of
FmHA supervisor for Clark County. Mrs. Hoberg, the former Delores Roudebush, is
a licensed practical nurse and works part time at Memorial Home. Both are
members of the United Methodist Church.
Among those present for the anniversary from out of town were the following
members of Mrs. Hoberg’s family, her parents, Mr./Mrs. Lyman Roudebush of Sauk
Centre, Mn.; her sister, Mrs. Lavonna McManus of Kansas City, Mo., and her two
daughters and a grandchild; brothers, Lester Roudebush and his wife and daughter
of Sedalia, Co., and Edward Roudebush of Burnsville, Mn.; and a cousin and her
husband, Mr./Mrs. Ellsworth Molden of Montevideo.
Representing the Hoberg side of the family were his step-mother, Mrs. Mildred
Hoberg of Waseca, Mn.; a brother and sister-in-law, Mr./Mrs. Gary Hoberg and
daughter of Owatonna, Mn.; a cousin and his wife, Mr./Mrs. Charles Hoberg of
Fridley, Mn.; an aunt, Mrs. Viola Kittelson of Montevideo; and a cousin and her
husband, Mr./Mrs. Keith McNeill and two sons of La Crosse. Also, in attendance
from away were friends, Mr./Mrs. Donald Hecht of Cumberland.
Charles Hoberg, Mrs. McManus and Lester Roudebush were attendants at the Hobergs’
wedding.
