Archambo, Royal O. (28 November 1912 - 13 May 1983)

ABBOTSFORD - Royal O. Archambo, 70, Abbotsford, was dead on arrival today at the Colby Clinic.

Services will be Monday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford. The Rev. Emil B. Hodnik will officiate with burial in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford.

He was born November 28, 1912 in the Town of Mayville, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Xavier (Elizabeth Patitz) Archambo. He married Helen Nikolay November 12, 1935 in St. Bernard's Catholic Church. He was employed by the Kohler Co., Sheboygan, from 1940-49. He then moved to Abbotsford, where he did construction work, building homes in the Abbotsford area.

He served as trustee on the Abbotsford Village Board; was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Frank of Abbotsford; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Reichersamer of Abbotsford; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Laack of Abbotsford; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by three brothers.
