Baugrud, Wilma (5 Jul 1904 – 17 Jul 1976)
Services for Mrs. Wilma Baugrud, 72, Des Plaines, Ill., formerly of Curtiss,
will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester.
Mrs. Baugrud died Sunday at Luther Hospital in Des Plaines.
The Rev. Roger Tellock, pastor of St. Paul’s American Lutheran Church in
Curtiss, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Curtiss.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 – 9 p.m. today.
The former Wilma Hofman was born July 5, 1904 in Hastings, Nebraska, and
attended schools in the Town of Mayville, Route 1, Curtiss. Her first marriage
was to John Ramminger in 1921, at Stanley. The couple lived at Route 1, Curtiss,
Milwaukee and Chicago.
She later married Oscar Baugrud in 1946 in Chicago. He died in 1971.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Margie) Krause, Curtiss; two sisters, Anna
and Esther, both of Nebraska; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A daughter also preceded her in death.
