Eileen Schreiber, model office coordinator at Owen-Withee Public High School,
Owen, recently spent two weeks at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire as a
participant in the development of a handbook for Model Office Occupations
Programs, which will be distributed by the Department of Public Instruction to
office educator throughout the state of Wisconsin. The Department of Office
Administration and Business Education at UW-Eau Claire was chosen by the
Department of Public Instruction to select the participants and develop the
handbook, which will be used for funding guidelines by DPI. Ms. Schreiber was
one of seventeen persons chosen to participate in this project because of her
successful experience in operating a model office simulation.
