Jeanne Marie Carpenter, daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Carpenter, Hibbing, Mn.,
and Ronald D. Aumann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Aumann, Rt. 2 Neillsville, were
married Saturday, September 17, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in
Neillsville. The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony,
which was followed by a reception at the church school and a dance at the Silver
Dome Ballroom.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in an empire style gown
of nylon sheer trimmed with nylon and acetate Chantilly lace. White carnations
and red roses formed her wedding bouquet.
Sherry L. Smith, Black River Falls, was the maid of honor, and Mrs. William
Henseler of Granton, Miss Barb Pechtold of Merrillan and Miss LaVonne Olsen of
Black River Falls were the bridesmaids. They wore floor length blue gowns with
matching jackets and picture hats and carried arrangements of blue-tipped white
mums.
Attending the groom were Mark Chadwick, Norfolk, Va., as best man, and Randy
Hediger, Larry Kosmosky and Jim Aumann as groomsmen. Ushering duties were shared
by Bill Aumann and John Carpenter.
Sharron Nemitz was the organist and Bess Tess, the vocalist.
The bride was honored at a prenuptial shower given by Kathy Hanby.
The new Mrs. Aumann is a 1977 graduate of Hibbing High School and has been
employed at Hibbing General Hospital. Her husband, a 1976 Neillsville High
School graduate, is employed by the Tesmer Construction Company. They are living
