Evans, Emma T. (12 July 1890 – 11 September 1977)
Mrs. Emma Hoepner Evans, a former Neillsville resident, died September 11, at
Atherton, Ca. where she was living with her son. Graveside services were held
September 14, in the Evergreen Cemetery, Menomonie. The Goodrich Funeral Home
was in charge of arrangements.
The former Emma T. Furlong was born July 12, 1890, in Graceville, Mn., and moved
to Wisconsin at an early age. Her marriage to A.H. Hoepner took place May 3,
1918; he died in Menomonie on November 27, 1943. On May 4, 195j7, she married
A.K. Evans and moved to Ortonville, Mn. Mr. Evans died April 26, 1971.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Eileen Risetter of Eau Claire, and a son,
William, of Atherton, Ca.; and three grandchildren.
