Reisner, Allen (28 April 1901 – 24 September 1977)
Allen Reisner, 76, of Rt. 1 Granton, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, September 24, at
his home in the Town of Lynn. Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday from Zion Lutheran Church in Granton with the Rev. Horst Augustin
officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery. The Gilbertson Funeral
Home, Granton, was in charge of arrangements.
Born April 28, 1901, in the Town of Lynn, Mr. Reisner received his education in
schools there. His marriage to the former Alma Steinbach, took place May 10,
1922 in Granton. The couple lived on a farm in the Town of Lynn since that time.
He had been a member of the Lynn town board for many years and had served on the
church council of Zion Lutheran Church, of which he was a member.
Survivors in addition to his wife, include one son, Robert, of Granton; two
foster children, Edward Reisner of West Allis and Mrs. Elroy Krause of Granton;
and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Clarence, and by one brother and one
sister.
Pallbearers were to be Edward W. Reisner, Richard Reisner, Roger Reisner, Edward
J. Reisner, Arther Reisner and Leland Guk.
Mrs. Roger Helm was to be the accompanist for congregational singing of the
hymns “Abide With Me” and “How Great Thou Art.”
