Schultz, Ellen M. (9 Jan 1898 – 15 Aug 1976)
Mrs. Ellen M. Schultz, 78, a native of Curtiss, died at 4 p.m. Sunday, August
15, 1976 at the home of her daughter in Santa Fe Springs, California.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in
Wausau. The Rev. W. H. Ortwein, pastor, officiated. Burial was made in Restlawn
Memorial Park, Wausau.
The former Ellen M. Anderson was born January 9, 1898 in Curtiss to Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Anderson. She was married to Stephen Schultz on September 6, 1916, in
Tomahawk. He died January 6, 1959.
Surviving are three sons, Robert, Wausau, Emery, Milwaukee, and James, Waukegan,
Illinois; four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Schreiner, Wausau, Mrs. Delores, Baitinger,
San Jose, California, Mrs. Ellen Vaughn, Romeoville, Illinois, and Mrs. Judy
Olderburg, Santa Fe Springs, California.; 22 grandchildren and 34
great-grandchildren.
