Edwards, John (Service Notes - 1977)
A former Loyal resident, John Edwards, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Edwards,
Marshfield, is on tour with the U.S. Navy in the Mideast. Enlisting in 1975,
Edwards is stationed at Charleston, South Carolina and departed on an extended
tour to Iran. Serving aboard the USS Bowen, the sailors visited Spain, Crete,
Suez Canal, Kuwait, Bahrain and Pakistan. Edwards will return with his crewmates
on December 23.
