Sowieja, U.S.A.F. 1st Lt. Donald S. (Service Notes - 1977)
U.S. Air Force First Lieutenant Donald S. Sowieja, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome C.
Sowieja, Greenwood, has arrived for duty at Ramstein AB, Germany.
Lieutenant Sowieja, a procurement officer with a unit of the U.S. Air Forces in
Europe, previously served at lackland AFB, Texas.
The Lieutenant, a 1967 graduate of Greenwood High, received his B.S. degree in
business administration in 1974 from the University of Nebraska and was
commissioned through the U.S. Air Force education and commissioning program.
His wife, Nancy, is the daughter of retired Colonel and Mrs. Frank A. Heasley,
Napa, California.
