Duell, Kevin Merlin (7 October 1953 – 13 May 2021)

KEVIN M. DUELL, age 67, of Loyal, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Clark County Rehab & Living Center in Owen. There will be no services held. Burial will take place in the Greenwood City Cemetery at a later date.

Kevin Merlin Duell was born on October 7, 1953 in Loyal, to Merlin D. "Pat" and Doris M. (Hills) Duell. He was raised and received his education in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 1971. After high school, Kevin worked at the Loyal Cannery. He was united in marriage to Marcia D. Vollrath on October 20, 1978. Kevin held various jobs over the years and spent his last 15 working years at Northside Elevator, in Loyal, working in the fertilizer plant. He retired in 2013. His wife, Marcia, died on February 24, 2020.

He loved playing cribbage and was a former volunteer fireman for the Loyal Fire Department.

Kevin is survived by 2 brothers: Pat (Marlene) Duell of Loyal, Tom (Lonnette) Duell of Medford, one step-brother: Steve Vollrath of Clintonville; 2 step-sons: Aaron (Bernice) Vollrath of Cupertino, CA and Josh (Amy) Vollrath of Fall Creek: nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marcia.

Kevin's family would like to thank all who took care of him and befriended him through the years.
