Red Cross Volunteers Capped (November - 1977)
Four Red Cross volunteers were capped in ceremonies last Thursday at Neillsville
Memorial Hospital. Honored were Lucy Steinhilber, Ann Bletsoe, Martha
Gutenberger and Lillian Kalsow. The group was capped by Dorothy Roberts, R.N.
In the 7:30 p.m. festivities, Elizabeth Crothers distributed pins and other
awards with the help of six of the volunteers, Marie Kuenkel, Ida Nehls, Lia
Church, Pearl Wasserberger, Lucille Kalsow, Virginia Karnitz and Elmira Junchen.
Crothers also announced that Ada Quinnel, Eau Claire, and Dr. John and Francis
O’Meara, Durand, are expected for a Thanksgiving Day dinner.
