McKevitt, Reggie L. (29 August 1954 – 17 November 1977) With Flag

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral home in Neillsville for Reggie L. Mckevitt, 23, former Neillsville resident, who was killed Thursday in an automobile accident in Florida. The Rev. Ronald Nordin, pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church, was in charge. Burial was mde in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

A graduate of Neillsville High School in 1972, McKevitt was the son of Mrs. Ramona Holmgreen Mckevitt of Neillsville and Lawrence R. McKevitt, Jr., of Florida. He had resided in Hemstad, Fla., for about a year.

Mr. McKevitt was born August 29, 1954, in Fort Knox, Ky., and received his formal education in several schools in Wisconsin. After graduating from Neillsville High School, he attended the Technical Institute at Eau Claire, where he took up barbering, and plied his trade in Madison and New London before entering the service. He later barbered in Michigan and before moving to Florida.

Surviving besides his parents are three brothers: Randy, Brian and Craig, all of Neillsville. Also, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence R. McKevitt, Sr., of Rt. 1 Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Holmgreen of Black River Falls.
