Gandera, Barbara (5 November - 1977)
St. Michael’s Catholic Church, North Creek, was the setting for the November 5
wedding vows of Barbara Gandera, daughter of Mrs. Marian Gandera, Arcadia, and
Thomas Tock, son of the late Milton Tock and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Boon,
Neillsville.
The Reverends Edmund Klimek and Raymond Peters officiated for the 11:30 a.m.
ceremony, in which the bride was given in marriage by her godfather, Octavius
Gandera. Dan Peterson provided the music. A reception and dance for
approximately 400 guests was held at Club 93.
Joan Gandera, Menomonie, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Debra Burns,
Hopkins, Mn., and Patricia Gandyra, Platteville.
The groom was attended by Thomas Wilson, Arcadia, as bestman, Doug Reed, River
Falls, and Allan Smith, Eau Claire. Ushering duties were performed by Thomas
Filla and Jane Tock.
The bride graduated from UW-River Falls in 1977 with a B.S. degree In
agriculture, The groom is a 1977 graduate of UW-River Falls with a B.S. in
mathematics. He is employed by Employer’s Insurance of Wausau as an assistant
systems analyst in the computer department. The couple’s home is in Schofield.
