Krause, Evelyn (8 January 1919 – 24 December 1977)

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 27, in Neillsville for Mrs. Harvey (Evelyn) Krause, 215 State St., Neillsville, who died in the Neillsville Memorial Hospital, December 24 after a brief Illness.

Mrs. Krause, 43, was born on January 8, 1919, in the Town of Weston. She received her education in the township and then graduated from Neillsville High School. She worked in Milwaukee for several years, returning to Neillsville where she was associated with Sunburst Youth Homes. She also worked at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital for several years. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey, four children, Mrs. Melvin (Barbara) Moldenhauer, Osseo, Arthur of Neillsville, Mrs. Daryl (Catherine) Rose of Taylor, and Dennis of Hustisford. Joining them are two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Helen) Nemitz, New Auburn, and Mrs. Lillian Marg, Neillsville; and three brothers, Louis, Herman, and Julius Hagedorn, all of Neillsville. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Paul and Meta (Wagner) Hagedorn, and one sister, Erna.

The Rev. Ronald Nordin officiated at the Calvary Lutheran Church services with burial in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Krause, Evelyn H. (8 January 1919 - 24 December 1977)

Funeral services were held December 27 from Calvary Lutheran Church, Neillsville, for Mrs. Evelyn H. Krause, 58, who died on December 24. The Rev. Ronald Nordin officiated at the 1:30 p.m. services and interment at the Neillsville City Cemetery with pallbearers included Jerry Christie, William Hoffman, Carl Hoffman, William Dux, Harry Harwick and Fred Grap. Jr. Mary Heineck sang “Just As I Am” during the service and was accompanied by Elaine Smith.

Children of Mrs. Krause attending included Mr./Mrs. Dennis Krause, Marshfield; Mr./Mrs. Daryl Rose, Taylor; Mr./Mrs. Melvin Moldenhauer, Osseo; and Mr./Mrs. Arthur Krause, Neillsville.

Those from out of town attending were Mr./Mrs. Louis Nemitz, Mr./Mrs. William Nemitz and family, Mr./Mrs. Robert Nemitz and family and Mr./Mrs. James Nemitz, all of Bloomer; Mr./Mrs. Lloyd Swenson, Rockford, Il.; Mr./Mrs. Dennis Fravert, Loyal; Mr./Mrs. John Hagedorn and Mr./Mrs. Jed Hagedorn, all of Winona, Mn.; Mrs. Duane Murphy, Marshfield; Mrs. Duane Moldenhauer and Mrs. Richard Moldenhauer, of Black River Falls; and Mr./Mrs. Harold Iverson, Taylor; Mr./Mrs. Charles Compton, Altoona; Mr./Mrs. Terry Sullivan, Eau Claire; Mr./Mrs. Erwin Dux and Mr./Mrs. Verland Dux, of Loyal; Mr./Mrs. Donald Hoeser, Chili; and numerous friends and relatives from the Neillsville and Granton areas.
