Lewis, Warren H. (23 Apr 1910 – 23 Sep 1976)
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 1976 at the
Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford for Warren H. Lewis, 66, Route 2, Owen,
Town of Green Grove. He died Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital in
Marshfield, where he had been admitted on September 11.
Officiating was the Rev. H. W. Gereau of the Apostolic Church at Withee. Burial
will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery (South).
Mr. Lewis was born April 23, 1910 in the Town of Little Black. He married the
former Cecelia Lapp on October 4, 1933. After their marriage they lived in the
Town of Little Black, and later farmed in the Town of Spencer, from 1951 to
1966. They then retired and lived in the Abbotsford and Owen areas.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel, Marshfield; a brother, Sumner,
Milwaukee; a step-brother, Ernest Haack, Algoma; and two step-sisters, Mrs.
Howard (Vivian) Kramer, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Irene Mueller, Algoma.
