Postmaster Newell G. Wilson is retiring from the post office after 31 years of
service to the citizens of Owen. Mr. Wilson started in the post office as a
sub-clerk in 1945, after serving in World War II.
In June 1971 he became Postmaster of the Owen office.
Mr. Wilson was born in Owen on July 27, 1917.
