Alstot, Floyd N. (31 October 1905 – 14 January 1978)
Floyd N. Alstot, 72, Rt. 1 Neillsville, was dead on arrival Saturday at the
Neillsville Memorial Hospital.
Born October 31, 1905, in Cedar Rapids, Ia., to Othe and Hattie Alstot, he also
received his education in Ia. Alstot moved to Clark County with his parents
where he farmed in the Town of Grant. He was a local and long distance trucker
for many years and had been wo4eking for the Green Thumb at the time of his
death.
He was married November 15, 1932, to Anna Schoen in Chicago. He is survived by
his wife; a step-son Walter Schoen of Neillsville; seven grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two
brothers.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with burial in the Neillsville
City Cemetery. The Rev. William Noble officiated. Arrangements were made by the
Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home.
