Howard, Vern G. (27 March 1895* – 29 December 1977)
Funeral services were held Saturday for Vern G. Howard, 82, who died December
29. Masonic services were held at the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home with burial in
the Town of Grant Cemetery. Mrs. Iris Musil was the organist for the service. (*Birthdate
gotten from cemetery index on site.)
Pallbearers included Walter “Buster” Brown, Dennis Larson, Robert Howard, Vernon
Drescher, Richard Adler and Dale Short. Honorary pallbearers included former and
present Clark Electric Board Members: George Humke, Delmar Toburen, Brice
Bender, David Krutsch, Ralph Woik, Rollie Dietrich, August Stremikis, Eldore
Humke and Harland Bergemann.
