Robertsen, Jean (17 Aug 1915 – 19 Oct 1976)

Mrs. Earl (Jean) Robertsen, age 61, of Withee, Wisconsin, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday, October 19, 1976 at 10:30 a.m.

Services were held at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, with the Rev. Douglas Groenewold presiding. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers for the service were Robert and Kenneth Arndt, Milan Litzloff, Melvin Koplitz, Marvin Mengel, and Arnold Vater.

Mrs. Robertsen was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota on August 17, 1915, and married Herbert Hook in 1952. After his death in 1961, Mrs. Robertsen, on October 5, 1966, married Earl Robertsen in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Robertsen lived in Ashland, New Richmond and Milwaukee. She moved from Milwaukee in 1972, and lived in the Withee area for three years.

The deceased is survived by seven sisters, Mrs. Carol Sopina, Milwaukee, Mrs. Joyce St. Alvey, Minneapolis, Mrs. Dorothy Jordan. Minn., Mrs. Margaret Siefert, Mason City, Iowa, Mrs. Carol Aldenberg, Milwaukee, Mrs. Donna Drennan, Little Rock Ark., Mrs. Bernice Carpenter, Fling, Michigan, and two brothers, Donald Beaugard, Waukesha, and Earl Beaugard, Minneapolis, Minn.

Mrs. Robertsen had one daughter, Geary Jean Hook living in Denver, Colorado.

Robertsen, Jean (17 Aug 1915 – 19 Oct 1976)

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen for Mrs. Earl (Jean) Robertsen, 61, Route 1, Withee. She was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Rev. Douglas Groenewold, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Withee, conducted the services. Burial was made in Withee Riverside Cemetery.

The former Jean Beauregard was born August 17, 1915 at St. Cloud, Minnesota. She was married to Joe Hook, and the couple lived and farmed at New Richmond. He preceded her in death in 1961.

After her marriage to Earl Robertsen on October 5, 1961, they lived in Milwaukee. Since 1973, they had lived at Withee.

Survivors include her husband, Earl; a daughter, Miss Diane Hook of Colorado; her father, Benjamin Beauregard, Ashland; two brothers, Donald Beauregard, Wauksha, and Earl Beauregard, Minneapolis, and seven sisters, Mrs. Carl Sopina, Mrs. Carol Aldenberg and Mrs. Bernice Carpenter, all of Milwaukee, Mrs. Joyce Alvey, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Dorothy Jordan, St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Margaret Siefert, Mason City, Iowa, and Mrs. Donna Drennan, Little Rock, Arkansas.
