Borgeson, Jenny (22 Jan 1896 – 27 Oct 1976)
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee for
Mrs. Jenny Borgeson, 80, Route 2, Withee. She died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday,
October 27, 1976 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
The Rev. Lloyd Yaggie, pastor, conducted the services. Burial was made in Withee
Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Johnson, Lester Kallberg, Owen Melin, John Peterson,
Melvin Stelter and Hodan Hagberg.
The former Jenny Borgeson (unlikely her maiden name was Borgeson – must be a
misprint) was born January 22, 1896 in Sweden, and was married to Rudolph
Borgeson in 1922, in Chicago. He died March 27, 1972.
The couple farmed in the Town of Hixon until 1951, and then lived in Minneapolis
until 1969. They then returned to Withee.
She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church and the Danish Ladies Aid.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Elsie) Johnson, Minneapolis; two sons,
Sigfred, Withee, and Raymond, Racine; five grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs.
Judith Johnson, Hingham, Mass.
