Pohl, Augusta (20 Nov 1881 – 31 Oct 1976)

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, 1976 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss for Mrs. Augusta Pohl, age 94, of Spooner, who passed away at the Spooner Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 31, 1976.

Mrs. Pohl, formerly of Curtiss, Wisconsin, was born Augusta Kind, in the Town of Rantaul on November 20, 1881. She was the daughter of the late Gottlieb and Ida (Kindler) Kind. On June 19, 1919 she was married to Richard Pohl at Colby, Wisconsin.

Following her marriage the couple farmed in the Loyal and Greenwood areas. In 1940 they retired and moved to Curtiss, where Mr. Pohl died in 1952.
