Fox, Harry Jr. (11 June 1937 – 24 May 2021) With Flag

Harry Fox Jr. age 83 of Abbotsford passed away in the emergency room at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield on Monday, May 24, 2021.

Harry was born on June 11, 1937 in Hamilton, Ohio to Harry Clayton and Cecil (Bryant) Fox. He attended Hamilton schools. Harry enlisted in the US Air Force on October 10, 1959 and was honorably discharged on November 1, 1979 at the rank of master sergeant. After his enlistment in the military, he did carpentry and mechanic work and also helped with auctions. Harry was united in marriage to Laurie Thorson on November 17, 1998 at the Court House in Neillsville. Harry enjoyed fishing, auctions and going to church.

He is survived by his wife: Laurie of Abbotsford, children: Timothy Fox of Minneapolis, Sheila Stanton of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Thomas Fox of Minneapolis and Steven (Kelsey Smith) Fox of Green Bay, step-daughter: Deanna Thorson of Chippewa Falls, grandchildren: Sterling Silver Fox, Brandy (Dan) Boorn, Symantha Williamson and Lucas McGeorge, great grand-children: McKenzie Boorn, Sophia Boorn, Evelyn Boorn, Gabriel Boorn and Joshua Williamson. Harry is further survived by his sisters: Ruth Scott Wendt and Pearl Baldwin Simmering.

Harry is preceded in death by his son; Travis Leslie Fox, parents, brother: Harvey Fox, sister: Evelyn Carpenter and his first wife: Karen Fox.

There will be no services held. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.
