Hamm, Raymond A. J. (12 Aug 1920 – 04 Nov 1976)
Raymond A. J. Hamm, Route 2, Owen, was pronounced dead on arrival at 1 p.m.
Thursday at the Colby Clinic. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.
He was 56.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen,
with burial being made in Withee Riverside Cemetery. Robert Ruprich of
Dorchester Jehovah’s Witnesses Congregation, officiating.
Mr. Hamm was born August 12, 1920 in the Town of Holway (Marathon Co.). He
married the former Geraldine Karaba on December 2, 1950, at Greenwood. The
couple lived in the Town of Hoard and farmed since 1951.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick, at home; a daughter, Cynthia, at home;
a sister, Mrs. Mildred (Bernice) Smith, Owen, and three brothers, Robert and
Harold, both of Owen, and Harry, Zion, Illinois.
