Hoge, Elizabeth J. (23 Aug 1921 – 11 Nov 1976)

Mrs. Elizabeth J. Hoge (Vander Wegen), a former resident of Withee, Wisconsin, died on Thursday, November 11, 1976 at the University of Minnesota Hospital.

Mrs. Hoge was born in the Village of Withee on August 28, 1921, and was a graduate of Withee High School, and then later the Duluth School of Beauty.

Married on March 8, 1943 to Bernard Hoge of Aitkin, Minnesota, Mrs. Hoge was a resident of Aitkin for the past 35 years, and was a beautician for Sammy’s Beauty Salon in Aitkin.

Survivors of Mrs. Hoge are her husband; two daughters, Lisa, Mrs. David Banks Jr. of Eveleth, Minn., and Tamara, living at home, and granddaughter, Rachel, and grandson, Michael.

Services were held at St. James Catholic Church on Monday, November 15, 1976, in Aitkin. Pallbearers were Arthur Bonneville, Gordon Pasell, Walter Wagner, Joe Stuard, Robert Thompson and Lawrence Quale.
