Mittelstedt, Alvin (30 Mar 1916 – Nov 1976)

Alvin Mittelstedt, age 60, former resident of Owen, died at his home in Cambridge, Wisconsin.

He was born in New Lisbon on March 30, 1916. He was married to Florence Zelm on February 20, 1954. He was a graduate of Madison Business College, and was a draftsman for Marshall Erdman & Associates.

Surviving are his wife, five sons: David Mittelstedt, Cambridge, Dr. Alan Zelm, Stoughton, Dr. Merlin Zelm, Huntington, West Virginia, Dr. Jerry Zelm, Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Dr. Kenneth Zelm, Algona, Iowa; one daughter, Mar. Craig Brue, Stoughton; one brother, Harold Mittelstedt, New Berlin, Wisconsin, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cambridge on Saturday, November 20, 1976 at 9:00 a.m. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Withee, Wisconsin.
