The University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, which has students from every county
in the state, has begun its 83rd year of operation with an enrollment of 8,542,
or an increase of 322 from 1975.
The university has several new programs and facilities for students, including
new minors in the fields of earth science, women’s studies, writing, and
computer science.
Students from this area include: From Owen, Steven M Gay, Andrea Lehnen, Mary E.
Greschner. From Withee: Richard L. Boening, Kristine A. Miller and Richard P.
Koplitz. From Curtiss: Rachel L. Bruger and Carol A. Peterson.
