Courter, Edith (1892? – 29 Nov 1976)

Edith Courter, 84, of Butlerville area, passed away on Monday night at 8:45 p.m. at the Memorial Hospital at Neillsville, where she had been taken on Monday. Death was attributed to complications of old age.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Thorp Funeral Home, Thorp, with visitations on Wednesday evening.

Surviving are four children, a son Roland Courter at home, three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Welciek, Greenwood, Mrs. Mildred Allen, St. Petersburg, Florida, and Mrs. Norman (Joyce) Johnson, Eau Claire, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Her husband and three children preceded her in death.
